The Burbank Employees Retiree Medical Trust was adopted April 2003. A coalition of Burbank Labor groups: Burbank City Employees Association-AFSCME, IBEW Local 18, and the Burbank Management Association worked with the City to draft the Trust. The Trust provides post retirement benefits for qualified medical, dental, vision, and long term health premiums, and expenses. The Trust has been paying benefits to eligible participants since April 2008.
